About Me

I am a PhD student living in sunny Los Angeles in the United States.  Proudly Vietnamese from the city of Hue, I have also lived in New Zealand and the northeastern United States and have spent a lot of time in Brazil, Turkey, and Australia.

I am bilingual in Vietnamese and English, fluent in French, Portuguese, and Turkish (although it may take a while for my brain to get into gear), semi-fluent in Spanish (especially if you don’t mind Portuñol), and have varying levels of proficiency in Japanese, Russian, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, and Indonesian.
